Hi everyone, my name is Trent Yoder, and I’m the Owner of Mega Attachments.

I started Mega Attachments in 2022 at 20 years old, but the story really begins much earlier. I grew up in a large family of 13 on a small farm in Apple Creek, Ohio, where I was running farm equipment at a young age. From tractors and ATVs to skid steers and the many attachments that go with them, I learned early how machines work—and how to fix them when they didn’t.

Along with my brothers, I also had a side business buying and selling garden tractors, something we genuinely enjoyed. That experience sparked a deeper interest in equipment, service, and problem-solving.

 

Before the height of COVID, I went to work for an older brother servicing and selling roofing coating sprayers. We had a large spring order of new units coming in, but when COVID hit, I still remember order after order—secured weeks earlier—being canceled. With inventory arriving and sales disappearing, the business didn’t have the funds to continue operating.

That’s when we made a pivot. We decided to focus on something we knew well and knew would sell: used mowers. We jumped in headfirst—buying any used mower we could find, servicing them, cleaning them up, and selling them on Facebook Marketplace. By the grace of God, we were able to get ahead of the bills and keep things moving.

By the end of 2020, I took the used mower business on full-time, and we closed the sprayer business. I continued selling mowers through 2021, and that winter I went to work for a local mower dealership to learn the service side of the industry on a larger scale.

That’s where everything came together. I was asked if I’d be interested in helping build attachments for lawn care professionals. With my background and love for design and problem-solving, the answer was easy.

That’s when Mega Attachments was born.

Today, We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve our customers with quality, American-made products built for real-world use. Everything we build is influenced by where we came from—simple, durable equipment designed to work as hard as the people who use it.
